from Doug:

A couple of days after last week's comment on still green leaves on trees, a colder snap and some rain brought most of those leaves straight down. A busy day then for many of us on a warm Saturday catching up on the fall yard work.

The weekend and Monday were a time to reflect and remember; having been listed in the category of "stored safely, but I don't know where" since my parents' household move last June, Father found his medals last week just in time. They will go with him on a visit to the Hamilton Warplane Museum this week.
