B.C. Finance Minister in charge of ICBC resigns.
British Columbia's Finance Minister Kevin Falcon has resigned from
cabinet, effective immediately, and announced he won't seek re-election
in next May's provincial election.
Claims
IBC: Ontario Storm Tops $80 million in insured damages.
Over a two-day period (July 22 and 23) a band of powerful thunderstorms left a path of damage across parts of Ontario.
Insured losses from Isaac could reach up to $1.5 billion.
Catastrophe modeler EQECAT said storm surge heights of between six and
12 feet were reported along the Southeastern Louisiana and Mississippi
coast. The surge, in combination with waves, has put some coastal areas
